While doing that, you may find lucky purchasing from a nursery where you just need to bring from outdoor to indoor. This is because those plants which you get from nurseries will be harder and can adapt to any conditions. Another benefit which you will get from the nursery is that there is return policies to some certain period of time. They will also give you instructions on how to plant and maintain them.

Humidity is also important for any plant. You might need to purchase a humidifier to help or simply place a tray of water close to the plants as it evaporate and create moisture in the air.

I would prefer to have bee screens on your window as these insects are not the best houseguests. But if you can control them, they are again a boon for you and the flowers.
